About

ABOUT  ME

I am a gender justice researcher and journalist committed to understanding how institutions fail minority girls and translating my findings into public writing, school reform, and direct support for immigrant youth.

My signature initiative, The Invisible Girls Project: Research, Reporting, and Reform for Minority Young Women, unites my intellectual work with sustained community advocacy. At Milton Academy, I investigate subtle forms of gender inequity that shape girls’ leadership, classroom participation, safety, confidence, and sense of belonging. Through SAGE and The F-Word, I transform student testimony into evidence-based reporting and recommendations for institutional change.

I extend this work to Haitian immigrant and refugee girls at Brookview, where I examine how gender intersects with race and poverty to constrain opportunity. Drawing upon after-school support sessions, I am developing a bilingual Survival Guide for Haitian Youth that turns research into practical, accessible assistance.

My work follows a clear purpose: to uncover overlooked injustice, amplify the experiences of marginalized girls, and build resources that make their schools and communities more equitable.
